Global Warming T-Shirt Design Contest
On Jan.1 2007, Duckworth Factory in Morrisville Vermont, approached the Graphics Department at Lamoille Union High School with an idea. Have the students design a Global Warming awareness T-Shirt design and local graphic designers from area businesses including: Concept 2, Cutting Edge Graphics, News & Citizen, SloganGirl.com, and Duckworth Factory T-Shirt Printing would choose 3 finalists and Duckworth Factory would print the winning T-Shirt Designs to help raise funds for Global Warming awareness.
It was a resounding success! The students jumped at the chance to have a design they created printed on T-shirts. Many designs were submitted & judged based on :
- Graphic Design
- Global Warming Awareness
- Printability
- Creativity
The Judging was difficult, as so many creative designs were
submitted. After extensive viewing, the judges finally chose the 3
shirt designs that best fit the criteria and the winning designs
were screen printed.
Sales of the T-Shirts will be done from this website on the
T-Shirts page as well as local stores and
businesses.
